200.000 VISITS ON THIS BLOG! SOMETHING DOESN'T SUM UP! AGAIN!

On 26 May this year, I published a post highlighting the blog's visitor statistics. In particular, I pointed out that from 2016 to December 2025 the blog had received "only" 100,000 visits, whereas in the following five months it attracted another 50,000.

Well, this curious "paranormal effect" has happened again—and on an even greater scale.

From 14 May 2026 to 6 July 2026, that is, in just 52 days, the blog received another 50,000 visits, bringing the total to 200,000.

This is a result that truly encourages me and shows just how much these blogs are appreciated. I constantly strive to improve them, making them as interesting, accurate, and enjoyable as possible for everyone who reads them.

150.000 VISITS ON THIS BLOG! SOMETHING DOESN'T SUM UP!

 

In my previous blog post of December 2025, I celebrated — with a somewhat barely concealed sense of pride — the fact that my website had reached 100,000 visits over 10 years (2015–2025), a milestone that seemed decidedly positive to me for a blog that sells nothing and merely shares a passion with other people.

But then something unexpected happened: by May 11th, 2026 — after only another four months (and a few days) — the blog had reached no fewer than 150,000 visits, an extraordinary figure. In 10 years I achieved 100,000 visits, and then in just four and a half months another 50,000 visits.

I wonder — and I ask you as well — how this is possible, and whether someone may have taken an interest in and/or shared this blog. In any case, this gives me renewed motivation to prepare more articles, with even more photographs and historical research, hoping therefore to continue growing and to make my own small contribution to the worlds of History, uniformology, and wargaming.

100.000 VISITS ON THIS BLOG!

 I never thought I would have achieved these numbers: on 28th December 2025 I reached the incredible - for me at least - number of 100.000 visits on my blog!

Thank to all the lovers of wargames, papersoldiers, history, uniforms etc. It took me almost ten years but in the last period it increased very fastly.

I hope someone of you got some idea, others some curiosity to be satisfied, others just some pleasure in reading.

I use this moment also to apologize for my English. When I started there was no AI, now I could use it, but I do prefer going on this way. A lot of mistakes are dued to my lacks of knowledge of this English but a good number also to the necessity to write very fast when I have 5 minutes of time and this does not help at all.

I preferred to use English to Italian to allow anyone to understand better and to have a widespread publicum.
