I have finally managed to organise some of the material for my booklet project on the Battle of Dogali (1887).
I am currently writing the introductory section, which explains the origins and development of Italian involvement in that part of Africa. I am now wondering — and would very much appreciate your opinions — whether this approach to writing, with its attention to historical detail, is something you find interesting and enjoyable to read.

With this in mind, I have reconstructed — for the first time — the corvette Ettore Fieramosca, along with several maps and illustrations based on original historical sketches.
All comments are most welcome, and so is any criticism!
I believe that illustrations play an essential role in bringing historical narratives to life, making the text more interesting, engaging and enjoyable to read.
